Meet Rachel

Rachel Valencourt is a mother, speaker, and social innovator. She is a former travel professional, and an OG Mom blogger, who draws inspirations from her outlandish family and extensive world travels, Rachel’s experiences have culminated in her debut novel, “Every Night has a Dawn,” which is set to take the world by storm in the Fall of 2023.

Rachel grew up in Southern California and studied journalism at California State University. She has traveled extensively through several countries and has lived in England and Australia. She currently calls San Diego home, where she resides with her British husband and two amazing teenage daughters.

Message From Rachel

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog. I’m Rachel, a travel-loving writer from San Diego. I’m currently immersed in writing my ‘Winds of Change’ trilogy. When I’m not writing, I love exploring other countries and have lived in Australia and the UK. I’m in the midst of raising two amazing teenage daughters (heaven help me) with my charming British hubby (I highly recommend picking one up). I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling. I’ve been told my passion for travel and my family shines through in my writing. I can often be found chasing sunsets on the beach or rollerblading on the boardwalk with my minis.
